Don't Want To Cook This Holiday? These 14 Restaurants Are Open on Christmas Day 2023
Not up for the stress of cooking a Christmas meal this year? If that’s the case, there are plenty of restaurants that are open on Christmas Day.
Some restaurant chains will be open for dining in, and many more restaurants are offering holiday meals for takeaway on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so you can still enjoy a meal at home without having to cook or worry about cleaning a pile of pots, pans and oven dishes after the fact.
As like many restaurants that are open on holidays, however, hours may vary by location, so you'll want to call ahead to confirm Christmas Day hours at the restaurant nearest you. And if you're placing pre-orders a few days before Christmas, be sure to check that, too.

14 Restaurants Open Christmas 2023
Boston Market
Select Boston Market locations will be open on Christmas Day, but all will be open on Christmas Eve. Rather cater instead? The restaurant is offering up holiday packages that are as low as $14.99 per person for a rotisserie chicken meal.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill
Macaroni Grill is open 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day. According to their website, they will be serving all of your Italian favorites for dine-in, take-out and delivery.
IHOP
IHOP is always a solid choice because it is one of the few places still open 24 hours a day. It does vary by location though, and some choose to run reduced hours on Christmas, so just call ahead before heading out.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House
Most Ruth's Chris locations will be open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, according to their website. They are also offering takeaway Christmas meals for those celebrating at home.

Denny's
Christmas just so happens to be the busiest day at Denny's, so you can look forward to the restaurant being open on the big day.
Buca di Beppo
According to their website, Italian restaurant chain, Buca di Beppo, will be open late for Christmas.
Benihana
Benihana restaurants will be open on Christmas Eve, and a few will be on Christmas Day, but the company says they have not yet confirmed hours.
Shoney’s
The family-friendly chain will open at 11:00 a.m. on Christmas Day with dine-in and to-go options.
“You and your family can enjoy all your holiday favorites from our All You Care to Eat Freshly Prepared Food Bar,” their website says. “We're talking slow-roasted turkey, tender sliced ham, roast beef with mushrooms and gravy and all your favorite (sides).”

Fogo de Chao
All U.S. Fogo de Chao locations will be open on Christmas, a company spokesperson confirmed. Christmas Eve hours are 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Christmas Day hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Waffle House never sleeps! The chain is traditionally open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Applebee's
Select Applebee's locations will be open on Christmas Day, so check with your local restaurant before stopping in.
Baker's Square
Baker's Square locations will be open on Christmas Day, closing at 6 p.m.
Bonefish Grill
While Bonefish Grill locations will be open on Christmas Day, you'll want to check in with your local to confirm the correct hours of operation.
Morton's Steakhouse
Getting a delicious steak on Christmas Day is a dream come true, and Morton's Steakhouse is here to provide it. This year, the popular steakhouse will be open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to deliver holiday meals.
