Crankworx Cairns Viewer's Guide

This week, Crankworx returns to Cairns, Queensland. Red Bull will broadcast multiple events from the festival for free on their YouTube channel.

See a broadcast schedule for Crankworx Cairns below.

Please note that the events take place in Australia, so due to the dateline, the broadcast date in North America may not match the date of the competition in Cairns. Though the events will be broadcast live, the replays will also stay up on YouTube, so there is no need to worry about waking up to catch the broadcast in the middle of the night.

On Saturday evening Red Bull will air the finals from the Pump Track Challenge. In the pump track race, riders will race head to head chainless around the pump track, relying only on their pumping ability to generate speed.

Sunday

Sunday will feature the long-awaited Crankworx Slopestyle. Cairns will be the first time this year that the male slopestyle athletes will compete after they went on strike in Rotorua.

The slopestyle at Crankworx Cairns could be wide open for the taking if Emil Johansson does not compete. Emil broke his collarbone a little over a month ago putting the window for his recovery close to Crankworx. If he is not ready to go, Crankworx will see someone other than Emil win the slopestyle event for the first time since 2022.
