Colorado Springs Pet Expo happening this weekend

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Pet Expo is happening this weekend and will take over the Colorado Springs Event Center, located at 3960 Palmer Park Boulevard.

It all begins on Friday, May 3, and goes through Sunday, May 5. There will be more than 100 booths and fun activities for guests in addition to demonstrations, pet contests, and dog and cat adoptions.

There will also be drive-thru, discounted pet vaccines on Saturday and Sunday only.

DATES: Colorado Springs Pet Expo

  • Friday, May 3: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 4: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Sunday, May 5: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Popular events at the Pet Expo include; performances by “Eric & Maddie, the Marvelous Deaf Cattle Dog,” along with presentations by guest speaker, Eric “Odie” Roth, on K9 CPR and First Aid, and several contests like the “Cat Country Doggie Dash” and “KVOR’s Best Dressed Pet.”

Also new for 2024, “Cat celebrity Carole Baskin” will stop by the Pet Expo on Friday, according to an updated press release sent on Tuesday, April 30.
