It’s been six years of love for Ciara and Russell Wilson. On Friday, the duo exchanged social media tributes to celebrate the anniversary of the day they met.

“You are beauty to me,” the 35-year-old "Level Up" singer wrote on her Instagram Stories sharing a picture of the NFL player lounging in an infinity pool. “How amazing we met this very day; 6 years ago. I love you so much. 3.26. 15.”

The 32-year-old Seattle Seahawks player posted a photo of the couple, who married in 2016, on his Instagram Stories captioned, “6 years ago today. We met and fell in love!!!” On the grid, another photo was captioned, “Mom and Dad."

The pair share son Win Harrison, 6 months, and daughter Sienna Princess, 3. While Ciara has a son named Future, 6, with her rapper ex, Future.

The couple met at a University of Wisconsin basketball game in 2015. "It was different," Ciara said of their meeting on a 2019 episode of Red Table Talk. "I had never had that feeling in my life. It was just, like, calm. We were connecting in every way…"

She added, "He was like this, open arms. And he was like, 'I got you.' Just the detail. Whenever he would think about me, he would think about my son. And to love me is to love my son. We come together. It's dope. It's a different level of love."

That year, Wilson told BuzzFeed’s AM to DM of their blended family, "The thing that I’ve learned the most is that being a stepdad and then also having our little daughter too, as well, being a stepdad, you really find out what love’s like. It’s interesting. It’s easy to love somebody that’s blood and everything else, but when you can love somebody just like it’s your own child and everything else, that’s what real love is like.”

The couple made their first public appearance together at the 2015 White House Japan State Dinner, where they were pictured holding hands. Fighting their sexual attraction, they decided to abstain from having intercourse before marriage or, as Ciara said, "until the deal is sealed."
