California Shelter Hopes To Find Loving Home for 3 Cat Siblings Whose Owner Passed Away

It's always heartbreaking to see animals being surrendered by their owners and then end up at the shelter looking for a forever home. It becomes even more challenging to find a home for siblings because you can't just separate them.

TikToker Heather Gee, who's an animal rights advocate, shared a video, posted on November 16, of three cats whose owner died and are now at the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency in Modesto, California, looking for a forever home together. Let's find out more!

Aw, look at how sweet they are!

It is so sad to hear that their owner passed away.

They're probably a little confused about where they are and don't know yet that they're at an animal shelter.

Let's get to know them.

The first cat, Morris, is an orange cat that is 9 years old and a little overweight. That's why they're all in the bonding room since they won't fit in the regular-size cat kennel.

Then we have Russell, the white and brown cat, who is also 9 years old and a little overweight.

And last but not least, Jazz, who's a 10-year-old female and a little less overweight.

They're in urgent need of finding a home, as they can't stay in the bonding room forever. Preferably a home that can adopt or foster all three of them as they're used to one another.

As you can see, they're all calm, sweet, and quite affectionate; however, it's hard to say if they're good with dogs or kids, so they may be best suited for a single or two-person household.

If you can foster or adopt them or know of anyone who may be able to adopt them, you can send an email directly to rescue@stancounty.com.

We hope those three kitties will find their forever home sooner rather than later.
