BLK MGK brewing something new in Downtown COS

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Mining Exchange in downtown Colorado Springs is home to a new high-craft, full-service coffee bar that “distills the finest cup of black gold this side of Cripple Creek” according to their website.

Alongside familiar favorites like espresso and cappuccino, BLK MGK (Black Magic) is taking craft coffee to a new level by offering a variety of creative coffee-based infusions, alcoholic drinks, and healthy remedies like bitters, colloidal silver, activated charcoal, vitamin B12, and collagen.

They also offer a menu of “small bites” plus sandwiches and larger meals, everything from classics like avocado toast (theirs comes with Pueblo chile) to more unique offerings like their BLK MGK smoothie, which includes golden-milk yogurt, seasonal fruit, banana, hemp seed, avocado, local honey, and bee pollen.

BLK MGK’s beans are sourced from local roaster Hold Fast Coffee. They are open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Mining Exchange, right on the corner of South Nevada Ave. and Pikes Peak Ave. in downtown Colorado Springs.
