Best city for breakfast in the US? NYC ranks 1st

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Looking for an excuse to splurge on a boozy brunch?

Here’s a good one – New York City ranks as the No. 1 city for breakfast in the U.S., according to a study from U.K. travel agent loveholidays.

The study used the number of social media posts, bakeries, breakfast restaurants and coffee shops in each city to conduct the rankings.

The Big Apple alone is home to 2,068 breakfast cafes, 243 bakeries and 646 coffee shops, the study said. In addition, 34,900 people on average search for “breakfast in New York” each month.

Los Angeles ranked second, while Las Vegas ranked third in the study.
