It's not uncommon for dogs to have varying reactions to bath time. While some dogs absolutely love it and can't wait to jump into the water, others may have a more cautious or even fearful response.

This American bully named Chocodogger is literally obsessed with getting baths, as his owner captured in a video posted on September 14. Let's see for ourselves!

Look at that smile!

He's such a good and happy boy!

American bullies, like any other breed, can have a wide range of reactions to baths. Some American bullies may have a more relaxed and calm demeanor during bath time, while others might be a bit more apprehensive.

This one is almost begging his owner to give him a bath already!

The key to a successful bath for any dog, regardless of their breed or temperament, is to make the experience as positive and stress-free as possible.

That being said, it's always advised to introduce your dog to baths at a young age, as puppies tend to be more adaptable, and early positive experiences can set the tone for their future bath-time behavior.

Everything has to be perfect for your pup to feel comfortable, such as the right temperature, which shouldn't be too hot or too cold, as well as a shampoo specifically formulated for dogs. A scrub glove or scrubber brush is another helpful tool to evenly distribute the shampoo all over your dog's fur, as shown in the video.

I use the same one!

And never go empty-handed into the bathroom, meaning reward your dog with a treat as well as praise and pet it before, during, and after the bath. This can help create positive associations with bath time.

Another important aspect is to always be gentle and patient while bathing your dog by speaking to them soothingly and using slow and calm movements.

Also, make sure to avoid getting water or soap in their eyes and ears.

If you follow these steps, your dog might become as bathtime-obsessed as this American bully.
