But being bejeweled doesn't always equate to maximalism; there are plenty of subtle ways to adorn your tips with sequins, rhinestones, and jewels.

Gold Chrome Stars

This dreamy bejeweled French mani is surprisingly easy to replicate at home. According to nail artist Mazz Hanna, you'll need one to two coats of a sheer nude base, a pastel periwinkle shade, a fine liner brush to outline your French tips, and, if you have shaky hands (guilty!), a cleanup brush to fix any messes. For the stars, you can use a dotting tool to create the centers and a fine liner brush to draw the points with gold chrome powder or polish. Once you've added your stars, paint on a thin layer of clear builder gel or top coat, then place a rhinestone in the center of the largest star on your nail and seal it all in with more top coat.

Studded Aura Nails

These aura nails will lift your mood every time you glance at them. Nail artist LaTara Haye suggests selecting polish colors that complement each other when creating aura nails. Iridescent or holographic polish is also an excellent option.

Multicolored Jewels

Sure, you could opt for a set of basic French tips, but why not elevate your manicure with some multicolored gemstones? If you lack patience, Hanna suggests applying almond-shaped French press-ons and using the remaining nail glue to attach multicolored gemstones.

If you're recreating this look with regular polish, you can use a foam beauty sponge to create a gradient by gently dabbing to blend out the edges.

Subtle Pink Chrome

One of our favorite bejeweled designs, this set is a recreation of the rhinestones and small pearls manicure worn by Sydney Sweeney at the Met Gala. While you can technically use any base shade, to replicate Ms. Sweeney's look, we suggest sticking with subtle pink chrome.

Deep French Tip

"This minimalist look requires patience, as French tip nails can be tedious to do, especially if you're freehand painting them," says nail artist Rachel Joseph. The trick is to use a flat cleanup brush with alcohol or acetone, depending on whether you're using gel or regular polish, to clean up. Once complete, place your chosen size rhinestone on the curve of the French.

Pearl Core

For this inspired take on Kylie Jenner's iconic pearl mani, Joseph recommends painting a thin French manicure using black (or any color of your choice) before placing two to three studs on each nail. Seal the studs in place using a builder gel or top coat.

Hot Topic

These striped nails are definitely outside of the box.
