"It's crappy quality and they have the gall to put it on markup," one person wrote, "but it does explain why it sells at an exceedingly slow rate. At this point I'm surprised it's still supported."

2. Simplehuman Trash Can

The Simplehuman Hands-Free Dual Compartment Recycling Kitchen Step Trash Can does come with all the bells and whistles—it's stainless steel, has a liner pocket that stores trash bags discreetly inside, and has special "lid shox" technology that controls the motion of the lid for a slow and silent close—but it also comes with a hefty price tag. We're talking $199.99—for a trash can. Reddit users were pretty appalled by this one, asking, "Who in their right mind would drop this kinda cash on a TRASH CAN??"

3. Wild Fable Clothing

Target's Wild Fable line has more items each season than we can count, with products ranging from pants and skirts, jeans, tops and dresses, shoes, accessories, and even swimwear. But superfans on Reddit are warning customers to stay away: "I think most of that clothing is absolute garbage and ridiculously overpriced," one person wrote. "I won't even buy cheap tank tops anymore because they start to unravel so quickly."

If I'm paying $150 for a fake plant, I want it to be damn near impossible to tell it's fake!"

5. Kate Spade Phone Cases

Target has a whole tech section filled with phone cases, charging cables, AirPod cases, and other tech accessories, but according to superfans, it's not the best place to shop for a nice phone case. "I saw these Kate Spade phone cases for $65!" one person wrote in a thread on Reddit. "Not only does it look like cheap quality but they look soooo ugly." Perhaps its better to shop online?

6. Heyday Charging Cables

On that note, Reddit users recommending skipping the charging cables in the technology section of Target as well, specifically the Heyday brand. "Any Heyday thing, really," one Reddit user said. "Those things are so cheaply made." And this user isn't alone. This comment got nearly 200 upvotes from agreeing customers.

"Those things will break after single digit uses sometimes," another person agreed. "Cheap electronics are cheap for a reason. Better to splurge on the cable from the company that produces your phone!"

7. Hearth & Hand 6-Wick Candle

Another Hearth & Hand item that Target superfans stay away from is their 6-wick candles. One candle from the brand will run you $50, and according to users on Reddit, "it smells good in the store, sure. But then you take it home, light it, and it's scentless. Complete waste of money."

"Sometimes big candles like this will run you $100+," another user wrote. "So I was pretty pumped to get one for $50. Until I lit it and realized it doesn't actually smell like anything! Talk about crappy quality."

8. A New Day Shoes

Another Target brand under fire from superfans is the A New Day brand, specifically their shoes. They sell a range of styles, from casual sandals and boots to high heels and sneakers. And they won't break the bank either. However, it seems like they might just break. "The price might look nice," one person wrote on Reddit, "but when it comes down to it, they're not good quality. "Hearth and Hand. $150 for a metal rolling cart that cannot hold more than 25 pounds and is flimsier than a school cafeteria tray??? No thank you," they wrote in a comment.

While this product certainly looks cute, with its black and white striped awning and wood detailing, we have to agree with the above user's opinion. Toddlers are stronger than you think! Unless you want to have to order another one of these within a month or two, you're better off buying a sturdier version that's just as cute.

The eleventh and final thing on this list is the Clementine Kids Swaddle Wrap. Aptly designed with bushels of clementines and made of 100% cotton muslin, this baby swaddle will cost you $54.99. Did we mention that babies need more than one of these, too? One customer on Reddit was horrified to learn that "People actually spend this much money on a swaddle?"

"I'm not great with money," another person commented, "but I'm better than that at least. I know you can get a 10-pack for less than that and it'll be made with the same exact material."
