Cheap or free romantic getaway ideas in Utah

While some options earlier on in the list are cheaper, not everyone can afford or will want to spend that much money every night. Here are some other options.

  • Camping: Utah has five national parks. Depending on where you go, my husband and I found camping spots, borrowed some camping gear and got into the park for a total of $50.

  • Visit past romantic spots: Where did you have your first date, get engaged or first say “I love you”?

  • Have a picnic: Besides the national parks, there are a lot of nature spots to visit if heading into the mountains. Go on a local hike and stop along the way to eat some snacks.

  • Stargaze: Head to the Bonneville Salt Flats, a national park or state parks like Antelope Island.
