Check Out the Season Finale of 'A Chef's Life' with Vivian Howard
This weekend is the season finale of A Chef’s Life on PBS, and the series—which follows North Carolina chef Vivian Howard—turns up the heat a couple of notches.
In the video above, we find an “emotionally traumatized” Howard preparing for a big dinner at the James Beard House in New York City. Last week, we watched her meticulously preparing for the dinner, but now it seems catastrophe has struck: The fryer in the tiny kitchen isn’t working, and Howard frantically shouts for her waiters to serve more slowly and give the cooks more time.
"Oh my God, worst case scenario, going down in flames," Howard breathlessly tells the camera.
