The sketch, which promoted host James Corden’s week of London shows, aired Monday night and saw the former FLOTUS captaining an all-women team from the U.S.

Kate Hudson, Lena Waithe, Mila Kunis, Allison Janney and Melissa McCarthy suited up in blue for Obama’s side, while Corden recruited fellow Brits Harry Styles, Cumberbatch and Samwell Tarly himself, Game of Thrones star John Bradley. Despite being American, Late Late Show bandleader Reggie Watts joined the U.K. men’s team.

The former first lady proved to be no slouch in the dodgeball department, bringing the pop star Styles to his knees.

But one of the three rounds played saw her being knocked out of the game by Sherlock and Doctor Strange star Cumberbatch, prompting a look of shock and horror from Kunis. No one looked more pained than the British actor.

“He can probably expect a visit from the Secret Service later,” quipped the announcer.

But all’s well that ends well. Obama’s team won two rounds, making them the ultimate victors, while Cumberbatch scored an autographed copy of her memoir, Becoming.
