Kaminey is an Indian crime action-adventure film that explores the intricacies of the Mumbai underworld and the consequences of your actions. Written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Kaminey was released in August 2009 and did decently at the box office.

Charlie and Guddu are twin brothers, each with their own set of speaking difficulties. Charlie is trying to make his way in the world as a bookmaker, but is defrauded by a jockey who causes him to lose his life’s savings. On the other hand, Guddu finds out his girlfriend is pregnant and decides to marry her, thus enraging her brother, who is also a politician. Thus begins a cat-and-mouse chase with a side dish of mistaken identity.
Kaminey stars Shahid Kapoor as Charlie Sharma and Sanjay Kumar ‘Guddu’ Sharma, and Priyanka Chopra as Sweety Shekhar Bhope. Other notable cast members include Amole Gupte, Deb Mukherjee, Shiv Kumar Subramaniam, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Adil Hussain, and Tenzing Nima.
