Cole Sprouse Models His Relationship with Ari Fournier After Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Love: It’s ‘Admirable’

Cole Sprouse is revealing who he looks to for relationship inspiration.

On Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Sprouse, 31, opened up about his relationship with girlfriend Ari Fournier.

He told host Kelly Ripa that he hopes to embody her 28-year marriage to Mark Consuelos, whom Sprouse became close with after co-starring on Riverdale together.

“I don't think it's a coincidence that Ari and I have gotten so close to you and Mark because I think you guys represent a kind of masculinity and femininity that we both find so admirable, especially in 2024,” Sprouse said, adding that Fournier “looks up” to Ripa, 53.

He continued: “Those definitions of masculinity and femininity are changing so rapidly for our generations."

Noting that he is the “last unmarried Sprouse,” the Riverdale star gushed over his special connection with his girlfriend of three years.

“When real compatibility comes into your life, it makes almost everything in the past feel like a lesson or a stepping stone to what you've arrived to now, and I think this is the first time in my life at least, and I'm not putting any of it on a timetable, but the first time in my life where I've been so wholly and completely able to be myself in a relationship and I think that is a tremendous testament to her,” he said.

Still, they are not rushing into marriage just yet. Sprouse shared that Fournier isn’t putting “pressure” on their relationship, applauding her “eternal gracefulness and elegance.”

“We’re taking it one day at a time," he said.

The actor and Fournier began dating in January 2021 and were first photographed publicly holding hands in Vancouver, Canada in March of that year.

It wasn’t until Sprouse appeared as a guest on Alex Cooper’s podcast, Call Her Daddy, that he opened up about his relationship.

"The current relationship I'm in has woke me up to what real compatibility and trust looks like in a way that I have never had before," he said. "It's been two years and some change and it's felt like a week... It's been incredible. I've never experienced this level of compatibility and it's made me look back on my youth and go, 'Well, you really didn't know,' which is nuts."
