Can't Wait for 'It'? Consider Streaming These 3 Creepy Clown Movies in the Meantime
The new It trailer debuted to record numbers last week, but we still have to wait until September to see the movie. Here are three creepy clown movies you can stream in the meantime.
The Devil’s Rejects (2005)
Cult icon Sid Haig portrays psychotic clown Captain Spaulding. Along with his family, Otis and Baby, Spaulding goes on a cross-country killing spree. Writer-director Rob Zombie created this tribute to 1970s grindhouse sadism. Check out the mayhem on Amazon.
He Who Gets Slapped (1924)
Man of a thousand faces Lon Chaney plays scientist Paul Beaumont. After he is tricked by his wife and her lover, the Baron, Belmont resurfaces years later as a circus clown — and when he sees the Baron at the circus he plots his revenge, using a trained lion. It’s available on Vimeo.
The Game (1997)
This David Fincher thriller finds Michael Douglas entangled in a mysterious real-life game, but things take a turn when he can no longer tell what is reality and what is the game. A clown doll is the first sign that Douglas is no longer in control of his life. The Game is available on Vudu.
