Can this gummy bear make your teeth, hair, and nails stronger? While traditional gummy bears are full of sugar and corn syrup that promote tooth decay, our gummy bears promise to make your teeth stronger. We combine cold-pressed beet-apple juice with our favorite go-to superfood of the moment: Great Lakes gelatin.

  • 2 cups cold-pressed beet-apple juice

  • ½ teaspoon maple syrup (optional)

  • 1/3 cup Great Lakes gelatin

Yields: 24 bears

Bring juice to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in maple syrup. Gradually and carefully whisk in gelatin. Allow mix to cool for eight minutes. Pour into gummy bear molds. Refrigerate for at least two hours before removing from molds. Store in refrigerator. (If you don’t have gummy bear molds, you can use any small silicone molds.)
