Two deaf and mute orphan girls raped in Jaipur

In a shocking incident in Jaipur, staffers of a non-governmental organization raped two deaf and mute orphaned girls, where they were under treatment for speech therapy. The girls were living in a hostel of the NGO, whose warden along with a clerk was arrested. Police is questioning other staff members of the NGO. The incident came to light when the girls, who are still learning to express themselves, came back to the state-run child shelter and informed authorities about the trauma they underwent. Authorities at the orphanage registered a complaint with the police, adding that three other girls were also repeatedly sexually molested and beaten.
