Maoists call shutdown in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli and Gondia

Maoists called a shutdown in Gadchiroli and Gondia districts of Maharashtra on Monday to protest against the killing of fellow women Maoists in the recent encounters.The regional committees distributed pamphlets to the locals and appealed to them to back the protest. The names of the women Maoists were mentioned in the pamphlet, although the police are yet to confirm the identity of the killed women. The pamphlets read, 'Make the shutdown against killing of six women Maoists in Medhri village by paramilitary forces a success'.
