A mother has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after she allegedly smothered her child while they slept next to each other. People have questioned the legitimacy of the photos, but Rangel says that the frog is real and that he has found others that size in the past. Texas Parks and Wildlife confirmed that the photos are real, but said the frog might not be quite as big as it looks. It's an "optical illusion created by extending the frog toward the camera," Steve Lightfoot of Texas Parks and Wildlife told the Chronicle. "Still a big bullfrog, though."
