On ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers,’ Jake Gyllenhaal Can’t Reach His Best Bro Bud Ryan Reynolds on FaceTime
Actor Jake Gyllenhaal stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers to talk about his new film, Life, and his BFF status with Life co-star Ryan Reynolds.
Host Seth Meyers doubted that Gyllenhaal was real-life, not fake, absolutely true friends with Reynolds, however, and made him prove it by FaceTiming his buddy. The doubts grew even stronger when Reynolds didn’t answer Gyllenhaal’s call, much to Meyers’s delight.
Gyllenhaal was redeemed, however, when the show went to commercial break, and he got a call back from none other than Reynolds himself, who was outside pushing some baby strollers at the time. The two chatted in front of the Late Night audience before signing off so Gyllenhaal could continue the interview.
