'Best Time Ever' Books Jack Black, B-52's

Neil Patrick Harris’s NBC variety show Best Time Ever is moving to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, and he’s christening the show’s new timeslot on Oct. 13 with a notable guest announcer: Goosebumps star Jack Black. He’ll be joined by the night’s musical guest, the B-52′s, who will appear as part of Best Time Ever’s regular segment “Singalong Live,” in which three home viewers are challenged to complete the lyrics to a popular karaoke song. (Start practicing your “Rock Lobster” now, people.)

Last week’s episode of Best Time Ever — which featured appearances by some Real Housewives and Bravo host Andy Cohen — pulled in 4.66 million viewers in its 10 p.m. slot.
