Chris Brown’s Appearance on ‘Black-ish’ Has Fans of the Show Upset

Chris Brown made a special guest appearance on Black-ish Wednesday night as a rapper named Rich Youngsta. Dre (Anthony Anderson) brought Rich Youngsta in to be in a commercial for Uvo Champagne. In the ad Dre created, Rich Youngsta was pouring Uvo on things to make them better.

The commercial was a hit with Dre’s co-workers, but unfortunately for Dre, not everyone was thrilled with the message the ad sent. Dre’s wife, Bow, had a real problem with the commercial, and one part in particular, exclaiming, “He poured champagne on a black woman and turned her white!”

Not everyone was thrilled with Chris Brown being on the show either. Many fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment, saying that Brown didn’t deserve to be in a family show like Black-ish. While Anthony Anderson supported Brown’s appearance in an interview with Gold Derby, his character in the show came to his senses about the commercial when he saw his son pretending to pour Uvo on his sister.

Black-ish airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. Watch clips and full episodes of Black-ish for free on Yahoo View.
