Technology support event to take place for veterans in Montour Falls

MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WETM) – The Schuyler County Veterans Service Agency will be hosting a Lunch and Learn event next week for veterans who struggle with technology.

The Lunch and Learn will be on Wednesday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Human Service Complex, Room 120, in Montour Falls. The event will be open to veterans and their families.

During the event, certified IT people will be available to answer any questions about cell phones, laptops and other technology. Lunch will be provided to those who attend.

Lunch and Learn is a part of the Dwyer Peer Support Project, a program that was created to help veterans meet with other veterans in a comfortable environment and help each other cope with the effects of PTSD and brain injury.
