On September 24, 2023, a capsule from NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission floated back to Earth, landing safely in the Utah desert. The mission was the first time the U.S. brought back a piece of an asteroid and a big moment for the space agency. The history-making success of OSIRIS-REx features prominently in NASA HQ'S Best of 2023 photos album, recently curated and shared on Flickr.
Other milestone moments documented in the photos include the Psyche spacecraft launch, the SpaceX Dragon Endurance landing, and the Earthly return of Frank Rubio, the record holder for longest single spaceflight by a U.S. astronaut.

NASA is kicking off a formal environmental assessment of its facilities on Wallops Island, Virginia, to increase the number of authorized rocket launches at the site by almost 200%, according to slides and recordings of an April 29 internal meeting viewed by TechCrunch. Instagram has released some new interactive stickers for use in Stories. One of these is a “Reveal” sticker that blurs content, so people have to DM the creator to get it unlocked.
Instagram is adding a handful of new features for Stories to give users more creative ways to share content and engage with each other, the company announced on Friday. Most notably, the social network is introducing a new "Reveal" feature that lets you post a hidden Story for your followers to uncover by sending you a DM. Instagram is also launching other features that let you share your favorite songs and highlight memories via Stories.
