Known for its robust design and luxurious features, the G-Class has undergone a transformation that encapsulates both tradition and innovation. The G 580 with EQ Technology showcases a familiar silhouette, maintaining the classic G-Class look with enhanced aerodynamics suited for electric efficiency. It features a robust 116-kWh battery integrated into its traditional ladder-frame chassis, which not only supports a lowered center of gravity but also preserves the vehicle's legendary off-road dynamics. This electric G-Wagon is equipped with four electric motors located near each wheel, offering a combined output of 579 horsepower and 859 lb/ft of torque, thus enhancing its off-road capabilities with precise torque vectoring.

Mercedes-Benz has ingeniously adapted the electric drivetrain to enhance the G-Class's off-road abilities rather than compromise them. The vehicle includes innovative features like G-Turn, which allows it to spin in place on certain surfaces, and G-Steering, which offers a dramatically reduced turning circle at the touch of a button. Furthermore, the "Transparent Hood" and "Offroad Cockpit" functionalities provide real-time data essential for navigating challenging terrains. These technical enhancements ensure that the electric G-Class not only matches but exceeds the off-road performance of its predecessors.

Luxury remains a cornerstone of the G-Class experience, with the interior boasting standard Nappa leather, customizable ambient lighting, and an array of high-tech amenities including Augmented Reality for navigation and a Burmester sound system. The new model also offers extensive personalization options through the MANUFAKTUR range, promising a unique luxury experience for each owner.
