Cool Car: 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy

(WHTM)– When the Palisade was introduced by Hyundai in 2020, I was impressed. Now the 2024 Calligraphy trim level ups the game even more.

The Calligraphy has a unique grill although I still cannot call the front end handsome.

All-wheel-drive is standard on the calligraphy. The base Palisade interior is quite nice but this one is really special.

Driver aids like auto emergency braking lane assist and rear cross-traffic alert are standard. The large video touch screen is intuitive to use. The automatic is an 8-speed with push button controls.

Row two has lots of room in every direction. Accessing row three is push button easy. Even with the power row three in use cargo space is good.

Smaller items can be placed in a generous compartment under floor.

The 3.8 liter V6 has 291 horsepower for good acceleration and a towing capacity of 5000 pounds.

So for the 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy all-wheel-drive, I say thumbs up to the roomy interior, Lots of luxury features and excellent value. Thumbs down to busy front-end styling.

I averaged about 22 miles-per-gallon in the Hyundai. The as-reviewed sticker is $53,650.
