This is the lowest price on record for this MacBook. Sure, it might only be a 10% discount — but if you've been eyeing this, it's the best deal we've seen. There likely won't be another deal like this until Prime Day or Black Friday.

Without going into a lot of technical jargon, the new M3 chip is like a steroid for this machine. It's 60% faster than the M1 chip, and up to 13x faster than an Intel-based MacBook Air. It's fast enough that it puts the 8GB of RAM inside this machine on par with laptops that have larger amounts of RAM — and that's just the start. It also supports up to 512GB of storage, boasts an incredible 18 hours of battery life, and has both an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU which means this MacBook can actually play games.

Okay, so you're not a gamer. Why does this matter? Every program you use will benefit from this speed. You'll be able to run multiple tabs at once in Chrome without sacrificing performance. "This is better in every sense, and because I'd waited so long to upgrade getting a 2024 MacBook Air easily outclassed my old Pro in every category. I'll for sure never miss my Pro," shared one user.

Some users ran into deal-breaking bugs with their laptops. "Just a week old the screen was freezing and vibrating. Rebooting did not help." Note: in a situation like this, cash in on the warranty. While rare, manufacturing defects to happen.

Another shopper warned that Apple has had a data leak. "Apple has had a major encryption key data leak from their M1, M2, and M3 processors. There is nothing anyone can do to fix it on the M1 and M2 chips. The only thing a person can do with the M3 is turn off a setting."
