Culotte fans fear not! Fashion editors sporting decidedly anti-sexy looks is a long tradition that shows no sign of abating this season. Made famous by Leandra Medine, aka Man Repeller in 2009, the look is more Annie Hall than Kim Kardashian. The effect of male repulsion, however, is merely a byproduct of a higher purpose: to enjoy one’s own ensemble regardless of any viewer’s opinion. While not encouraging the traditional male gaze, these women are the best kind of sexy: comfortable in their own skin.
