Usher’s Cane Is Practical and Stylish

Usher has the sexiest dance moves since Michael Jackson, so it was a real disappointment to see him hobbling down the red carpet with one fancy shoe, a velcro boot, and a pretty ‘baller’ cane (no top hat to match the ensemble, sadly).
The musician, who underwent foot surgery last month, posted numerous videos insisting that he was going to be “better, stronger, and faster.” Though his recovery has been somewhat stagnant in the past few weeks, he certainly pulled off an unexpected look that is indeed, “better” than we’ve seen from him in the past.
Tonight, Usher wore a classic Calvin Klein, double-breasted black tuxedo, ceremoniously matching this year’s theme, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” with a subtle, but ornate pinned neckpiece that’s reminiscent of Maoist tailoring. His one shoe (not the boot), also featured gold emblazoned details that matched the grip of his cane.
Injury or not, Usher always manages to look fresh!
