Reese Witherspoon & Emma Roberts Both Look Pretty in Pink

Reese Witherspoon went raw for Wild and plays a seductress in Inherent Vice, but last night, she returned to her Elle Woods roots. The actress went for a very girly look on the red carpet at the LA premiere of Vice. Wearing a bubblegum pink dress with nude heels, she matched her lipstick to the asymmetrical Balenciaga shift and pulled her hair back into a sleek cute ponytail.

Emma Roberts wore a similar look in the same shade of pink. Her ‘60s era dress was Valentino, as she was attending Valentino’s pre-Fall 2015 fashion show, the 23-year-old wore a pretty piece with a groovy collar detail paired with brown ankle-strap pumps. Her blonde hair was casually styled in a ponytail with a Twiggy-like smoky eye.

Holiday time usually calls for sequins and darker colors, but Witherspoon and Roberts prove that a pop of spring color can be just as—if not more—cheery. Look to them as an example as to how to incorporate lighter tones usually reserved for warmer months into a winter wardrobe. A neutral shoe, dark eye makeup, and sparkly accessories are key.
