How Taylor Swift Is Bringing “The Hills” Stars Back Together

Lauren Conrad was as cool as the Bath and Body Works Cucumber Melon lotion she totally wore in high school backstage at her first runway show for LC Lauren Conrad Limited Edition clothing line for Kohl’s on Wednesday night. In all-white, with nearly bleached blonde hair, the former reality TV star admitted that it was a recent Taylor Swift concert that scored her a save-the-date to former colleague Whitney Port’s upcoming wedding. “Of course I’d go (if I could). I’m so, so happy for her,” said the newlywed.
In the meantime, however, she’s busy working hard to become more “designer” than “celebrity.” New York Fashion Week is pretty starry this season: Jessica Simpson’s celebrating ten years and a billion dollar business, Maroon 5′s Adam Levine is presenting, as is Serena Williams and the Fat Jew. And 29-year-old Conrad was the first to admit that it can be hard to get past the “celebrity” part of her job. “Honestly I don’t fight it too much,” Conrad said. “It’s where I came from I’m so thankful for it. I don’t really think of it is a negative. I think you just work hard so the designer part becomes more prevalent.”

Not to mention, being a celeb helps get other celebs in your front row. Chrissy Teigen, Olivia Culpo, Ashley Tisdale, Dylan Penn, and Zac Efron’s gorgeous girlfriend Sami Miro all showed up to support Conrad.
Miro, who came with Penn, met Efron’s former High School Musical co-star Tisdale for the first time, and the two took a selfie with Tisdale’s husband Christophe French to prove it to Efron. “We’ve been trying to do a double date for so long, but Zac’s been so busy,” Tisdale revealed to Yahoo Style, “so it was really nice to see her.”

“[Miro] literally landed like two hours ago. She just met me. She always looks gorgeous. It’s ridiculous. That skin!” Penn said laughing. “She just throws something on and looks amazing!” Taking on New York Fashion Week together means they have twice the wardrobe from which to choose. “We used to room together, so I have a lot of pieces still. I hoard her stuff. She has no idea.”
Penn admitted it wasn’t so hard to do with Miro. “She has so many clothes she can’t keep track!” Not a bad problem to have, not at all.
