Keep It In the Family: Rachel Antonoff Announces & Other Stories Collaboration with a Short Film By Lena Dunham
Rachel Antonoff is known for whipping up quirky, feminine pieces, producing memorable fashion week presentations, and for the last few seasons, releasing short films starring her coterie of super cool – and famous – friends. There was “Best Friends,” the fall 2013 film by Lena Dunham – who is dating Antonoff’s brother Jack and is also Rachel’s de-facto landlord – which starred Lena’s sister Grace and writer Alice Gregory. Last fall she made “Dress Rehearsal,” which featured Natasha Lyonne in a hot tub, Alia Shawkat kissing her arm, and Laurie Simmons (Lena Dunham’s mom!) as an orchestra conductor.
Now, Rachel and Lena have once again joined forces, but this time, for Rachel Antonoff’s upcoming collaboration with super-cool Swedish store, & Other Stories. The film, titled “Vote Audrey” (possibly paying homage to Audrey Gelman, Dunham & Antonoff’s friend who works as vice president of a political consulting firm?) stars actress Zoe Kazan, as a young woman campaigning for office, outfitted in the designer’s collection. The collection hits stores on May 12. We can’t wait!
