Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent Extravaganza at the Palladium Was Maybe the Starriest Show Ever
Saint Laurent designer Hedi Slimane has made Los Angeles his base so it’s of little surprise that when he wants to stage a fashion show in his adopted home town, celebs of every stripe are keen to attend. Held at the famed Palladium, the evening was a tribute to the LA music scene and also celebrated 50 years of YSL Rive Gauche. The packed house was so starry that it almost read like an awards show. Justin Bieber, Lenny Kravitz, Courtney Love, Lady Gaga, Ellen Degeneres, Pamela Anderson, Jane Fonda, the Fanning sisters, and many more were in attendance to witness the 71 models and musicians stomp by in 93 looks, while 13 bands performed onstage. The party kept going until the wee hours of the morning as acts like Father John Misty, Joan Jett, and Cherry Glazer played at the epic afterparty.
