Ciara and Russell Wilson’s favorite date night spot? The White House.

The 29-year-old singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback attended a private party at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. hosted by the President and First Lady. Stevie Wonder and Prince performed together and director Ava DuVernay called the gathering one of the “best house parties” she’s ever been to. (No word on whether attendees drank White House Honey Brown Ale out of red solo cups, though.)

While the event itself might be contentious (reporters grilled spokesman Josh Earnest over whether or not the Obamas will be flipping the bill themselves—they will), one thing’s undebatable: this fashionable pair makes politics so pretty.

On Saturday, Ciara, who’s the new face of Roberto Cavalli, wore a sequin skirt with a thigh-high slit. She tempered the below the belt skin with a long sleeve turtleneck. The singer pulled her hair back into a low ponytail with a center part and opted for simple yet glamorous makeup. Wilson, on the other hand, was less understated in a patterned black and white tuxedo jacket.

The couple, who have only been together for a few months, made their first public appearance together days after the White House Correspondent’s Dinner when they were guests together at the Japanese state dinner. Ciara wore a silk champagne-colored gown designed by Walter Mendez, while her date went with a traditional tux.

Another favorite date spot for the couple is Seattle Children’s Hospital. Consider it a match made in philanthropic heaven.
