Blake Lively Designed Her First Dress

Blake Lively’s always taken pride in her lack of stylist. She calls in her own clothes, puts together her own outfits. The new mom has also proven that she can curate clothes, on Preserve.us, just as well as Gwyneth Paltrow for Goop or the Kardashians for their DASH boutiques. But design?

On Instagram, the Age of Adaline actress shared an image of herself proudly showing off her first finished product. “I may not be able to draw worth a lick, but I am proud of this dress I co-designed with Amour Vert for @preserve_us You better send me pics if you buy it! I want to share your photos!! #PRSRV so I see it ”

The “Champagne Dress” is available for $230 and can be pre-ordered now with an expected ship date of June 5. The product’s description reads: “You’re not supposed to wear white to someone else’s wedding, but we’re pretty sure the rule does not apply to this tied ivory number with a graceful printed skirt. Whatever the occasion, you now know what you’re wearing.”

Lively might not be able to sketch, but her followers couldn’t care less. They’ve already expressed interest in her first piece. @livelyus wrote, “Missy. I am honestly proud of everything you do to be honest! Your talent isn’t drawing but it truly is to design. also put a smile on everyone’s face” @kamik122 demanded that she “stop being so beautiful” and @jasrangel emphatically wrote “i want dis.”

Let’s just wait and see if others want dat too before making any judgements.
