A Girl Got Asked to Prom With a Dancing Horse

There have already been a number of creative promposals in 2017. One student turned her big ask into a political statement, while another ran over five miles to ask his classmate to the big dance. In the latest grand gesture, a high school student pulled together an extravagant spectacle that featured a dancing horse and signs.

California high school student Josefina shared footage on Twitter of her grand promoposal, in which her date, Johnny, rode up to her on a dancing horse to ask her to the dance.

Johnny enlisted a number of students to hold signs that spelled out: “Will you ride with me to prom?” After Josefina accepted his proposal, the pair danced to music surrounded by a large crowd.

Friends of Josefina posted footage of the moment on Twitter, in which many classmates appeared to be shocked by the promposal.

The two look excited for the big dance!
