A DJ Tells All About Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week is a wrap! My DJ partner Geordon and I were there to play a bunch of fun events and also to see some of my favorite designers’ runway shows. Fendi was my first show of the week and was definitely a highlight: Cara Delevingne opened the show and you could feel the energy buzzing in the hot Milan air! Other favorites: Dsquared2, Pucci, Versace, and Jeremy Scott’s highly anticipated Moschino show. Jeremy brought Barbie’s dream world to life as Charlotte Free roller-skated dangerously close to the edge of the catwalk (check the pic), and the front row was lined with Moschino Barbies dressed in the new collection. I ran into my friend Poppy Delevingne at Pucci–neither of us were expecting Naomi Campbell to walk the show (!!!). AmFAR’s 6th annual gala included an intimate performance by none other than Grace Jones and her son Paulo Goude on drums. To end Milan Fashion Week, Vogue Italia and editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani threw a huge party and exhibition celebrating the magazine’s 50-year anniversary, covering the walls of a six-story palazzo with huge prints pulled from the various decades of Italian Vogue. Very cool. Next stop: Paris. Stay tuned…
