Originally commissioned by famous German Porsche dealer Glöckler of Frankfurt in 1977, this 911 3.0 Targa “Turbo Look” is believed to be the only one like it ever made.

For the 1977 model year Porsche only made 646 Carrera 3.0 Targas and only one is known to have featured the Nr. 451 “Turbo Look” styling package. Adding even more flash to the already incredibly aggressive styling, a Light Yellow finish with a black exterior graphics package was applied. Inside, the cockpit features a black leatherette upholstery with pinstriped velour seat inserts. Although there is no certainty to the one-of-one claim, this 110th Carrera 3.0 Targa is speculated to be the first ever widebody non-turbo 911 made. Other factory options include Bilstein shocks, and anodized black trim.

This 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Targa “Turbo Look” last appeared at auction in Paris 2017 when the current owner purchased it. It was transported to Spain where a $15K refurbishment took place. All-new gearbox synchronizers were installed and the engine was checked and repaired as necessary. Finally, both the braking and suspension systems were fully refreshed.

With only 30,600-km or 19K-miles showing on the odometer, this very unique and rare Porsche is now up for sale once again. This time being offered on PCarMarket and cosigned by its current owner out of Colorado. Accompanying the car is some recent service records, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, official correspondences from Porsche, and a clear Colorado title. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to add what could be a one-of-one part of Porsche history to your collection.
