Windy today with rain and storms
Rain today will clear for the end of the week. Rain will move in early this morning and could be widespread and heavy for the morning commute. The heavy rain will move offshore, and it will be mostly cloudy and windy with thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening. It will be windy today with winds 15 mph to 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph. One to 2 inches of rain is possible. We may see a strong thunderstorm, but widespread severe weather is not expected. A cold front will move through late in the day, and skies will clear throughout the overnight.
Friday will be mostly sunny and windy with temperatures in the 70s. Winds will be out of the west, gusting up to 30 mph. A stretch of nice weather will start this weekend with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s for Saturday. Some spots will warm into the low 80s on Sunday. The warming trend continues next week with sunshine and highs in the low to mid-80s.
