WILDWOOD - It has been four years since former president and current presidential candidate Donald Trump visited Wildwood.

That will soon change with Wednesday's announcement of a Trump campaign beach rally on May 11.

The campaign announced details on the rally, including an online link for tickets, on Thursday.

In January 2020, Trump drew massive crowds to the Wildwoods Convention Center.

While the convention center only holds 7,500 people, it was announced by Rep. Jeff Van Drew, that more than 100,000 tickets were requested.

The Jersey Shore venue had lines of people hoping to meet Trump and hear what he had to say line up the night prior.
