Westwood High School seniors honored before next step in life

WEST ISHPEMING, Mich. (WJMN) – As school kids prepare for the end of the school year, some are preparing for the next stage in life.

Westwood High School held their Senior Awards Ceremony Wednesday night. This included presenting scholarships from area organizations and colleges they are to after their high school career.

“It’s certainly an honor,” said Abby Moffett, school counselor, Westwood High School. “I am so excited to see where these kiddos go after high school. I think they’re off to a great start because they’ve shown a lot of leadership in their past four years, and today is an awesome way to remember that.”

Westwood High School’s graduation is set for Thursday, May 30 at 7 p.m.
