Weekend Outlook: Scattered light showers, temps climb into the 80s

CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) — A warm front lifting into the region on Friday helped usher in another round of clouds and some scattered rain. Cooler temps, too, as high pressure kept the wind coming out of the east.

As for the weekend, don’t worry too much about rain! A few sprinkles or a light shower can’t be totally ruled out for Saturday–along with lingering clouds–but for the most part, it’s dry. Sunday, too. Sunday is looking a little brighter as temperatures start to warm up again.

A building ridge of high pressure will give us another week of highs in the 80s! Some neighborhoods will approach 90 by mid-week. Another front could bring a few showers and storms on Tuesday, with a couple more rounds of storms possible next Thursday and Friday.
