Weather forecasts are changing. Will Delaware see rain this weekend?

Memorial Day could be a washout for Delaware this year, the National Weather Service says.

Saturday, with sunshine and above-normal temperatures in the mid-80s (slightly lower on the coast), is your best day to get outdoors across the state. Humidity is expected to increase as the weekend goes on.

Sunday will likely be a fairly nice day in the southern parts of the state, as well, though slightly cloudier, the National Weather Service forecast says. New Castle County's Sunday forecast is patchy fog with a slight chance of thunderstorms, and there's a 30% chance of storms across the state Sunday night.

Monday's weather is most questionable. Storms are most likely in New Castle County, at 80% in the afternoon. Kent and Sussex counties have a 40% to 50% chance of storms through Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service says.

Heavy rain is expected statewide Monday night, clearing by Tuesday morning.
