WANTED: Man suspected of armed robbery at Buena Vista Grocery

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department is looking for an armed robbery suspect.

On Thursday, March 7 at about 11:50 a.m., officers responded to Buena Vista Grocery in the 4200 block of Buena Vista Road.

Police say two suspects entered the store. One of the suspects brandished a firearm, then robbed a woman of her purse.

Both suspects fled the scene.

Police are now saying one of the suspects has been identified as Jaquavious Taylor.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Sgt. Donna Baker at (706) 225-4296. Police say there is a reward for providing a location for Taylor’s arrest.
