The Waymo car was put to a stop in the middle of the road as cars were seen continuing to pass by. According to the video, it appears that the incident prompted the Waymo’s emergency blinkers to go on.

This isn’t the first time a Waymo vehicle was vandalized in San Francisco this year. During a Lunar New Year celebration in February, someone broke the window of a Waymo car in Chinatown and threw fireworks inside of it — causing the vehicle to be set on fire.

Last week, a 14-year-old boy was charged in connection with setting the Waymo on fire.

KRON4 reached out to the San Francisco Police Department and Waymo for comment on Saturday’s incident. We did not hear back in time for publication.
