Volunteers from the Save Ukraine organization have successfully facilitated the return of a 16-year-old boy and his family from the parts of Kherson Oblast currently under Russian occupation to territory controlled by Ukraine, according to Kherson Governor Oleksandr Prokudin.

Teenager and his family are safe, doctors and psychologists are caring about them - help them recover from what they experienced and adapt to a new place.

"I welcome this family back to Ukraine and thank the organization for its hard work!" Prokudin wrote.

Three more children were returned from Kherson Oblast temporarily occupied part to Ukraine-controlled territory on May 1, including an 11-year-old girl who was left without adult supervision and could end up in Russian orphanage.
