Two women dead after shooting in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two women are dead after an apparent shooting in North Las Vegas, police say.

Police say around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday morning, dispatchers received calls of gunshots being heard in the 2000 block of McCarran Street in North Las Vegas. When officers arrived, they found two women who had apparently been shot to death.

The unidentified women were described as one being in her 20s and the other in her 30s. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene, and investigators believe the shooting to be an isolated incident. No information on a potential suspect was immediately communicated by North Las Vegas police.
