Two charged after Perquimans County drug bust

PERQUIMANS COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — The Perquimans County Sheriff’s Office has charged two people with gun and drug-related offenses.

On Friday, March 15, deputies conducted a search warrant at 116 Snug Harbor Road, in Hertford N.C. While searching the home, deputies seized illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia and firearms.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Towe Morgan White and 35-year-old Amy L Perkins were charged with the following:

  • felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance (2 counts)

  • felony maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance

  • felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule IV controlled substance

  • misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia

  • misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to ½ oz

  • misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia

Both White and Perkins were given secured bonds by the magistrate.
