Two Acadiana men die in Sabine Parish fire Sunday morning

SABINE PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Two Acadiana men died in a fire at Toledo Bend in Sabine Parish Sunday morning, authorities said.

David Keith Sebastien, 70, of Opelousas, and David Mark Briley, 66, of Ville Platte, died in the fire, according to Sabine Parish Coroner Mark Holder. Officials said four men were inside the house at the time, and those two were unable make it out.

Sabine Parish Sheriff Dispatch received a 911 call shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday reporting a house fire on Brunson Drive. Brunson Drive is off Bray Road, off La. Highway 191 in the Lanana Bay area of Toledo Bend Lake.

Sabine Parish Sheriff Deputies, Central and North Sabine Fire Districts, and Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal responded to the scene.
